Waited a while for Slash to show up and he never made it. Instead, the anti-Slash came on stage - Arthur Hanlon. He was very talented, but once again, not exactly the hard core guitarist of fame that we were expecting.

As with any big trade show, there comes a point when you HAVE to step outside to avoid the crowds. If you ever have time, walk out a side door - you'll see a whole different hive of activity from the people that the make the show come together. And the gadgets you'll find may not be the latest in cutting edge technology - you might see a 'wheel' or a 'box' - which after a long day at a show, can seem just as facinating as the latest handheld!
